Support the Legacy of Scholarship

Help Preserve a Legacy of Scholarship and Cultural Heritage

For more than a century, the Goethals Indian Library & Research Society has stood as a distinguished centre of research, learning, and cultural preservation. Housing rare books, manuscripts, archival records, maps, periodicals, photographs, and scholarly resources relating to South and Southeast Asia, the Society safeguards an intellectual heritage of immense historical and cultural value.

Many of these collections are unique and irreplaceable. Continual care — encompassing expert conservation, precise cataloguing, high-resolution digitisation, and research support — is required to keep these resources active and accessible. Your generosity ensures that this remarkable treasury of knowledge remains vibrant for future generations of scholars.

Why Your Support Matters
